Housewife tips and tricks for a cozy home

My hair care routine tips

I’m been obsessed with long hair. Long hair makes a woman look so much more feminine. I want to grow out my hair to my hip bone and currently, they reach my belly button.

So, there are a few extra things I’m doing to grow out my hair whilst making sure they are healthy and damage-free. My favorite products for long hair are below.

Hair oils

One thing I’ve been really committed to being ‘hair oiling’. I oil my hair every 3 days, an hour or two before taking a bath. Leaving it overnight will give the best results (but I can’t because I live with my husband and I don’t want to gross him out with my greasy head lol).

It’s a well-known fact that some women love their hair oils. Coconut oil, almond oil, olive oil, amla oil, garlic oil, castor oil, etc. These oils are extremely good for the hair and they all provide different beneficial properties. If you want to grow out healthy beautiful hair, you need to start using these oils regularly. Believe me, these oils really do help in hair growth and improve the hair quality too.

If you want to induce new hair growth use castor oil. It is best for increasing hair growth. Mix castor oil with some other oil like olive or almond oil. Because castor oil on its own is too thick and it will not wash out of your hair easily if you don’t mix it with another oil.

So, what I did was, I mixed equal amounts of all different types of oils in one bottle. So, I can get the different benefits of each of these oils in one application. I would recommend doing this at least 2-3 times a week to notice a difference and try to leave the oil in your hair for as long as possible. I know it sounds all greasy and disgusting but a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do, right?

These oils are a part of my beauty routine. On my bath day, I apply them and leave them on for anywhere between 30 mins to a few hours, depending on what I’m doing that day. I let the oils soak in my hair completely and then I wash it out with my shampoo followed by conditioner.

Oiling your hair is really going to help reduce hair fall, dry and damaged hair, split ends, dandruff, and much more.

Shampoo & conditioner

It’s really important to use a shampoo that suits your hair. When you find the right shampoo, you just know! Your hair looks and feels much better. If a shampoo gives you dandruff or makes your hair really oily in just a day or causes hair fall, you know it’s the wrong one. It is also important to NOT wash your hair every day. Try to wash your hair every 3 days.

About a month ago, I started using this shampoo called Mane’ n Tale. Google it to find more information about it. People swear this shampoo makes their hair grow really fast. I do feel like this shampoo has increased my hair growth. I also switch my shampoo between this and the yellow Sunsilk Soft ‘n’ smooth shampoo.

As for conditioner, I highly highly highly recommend these hair conditioners by FASH KOOL. This is a local brand. You can find this brand in any pharmacy and local beauty stores. It is amazing!!! I wrote a detailed review of it here. This product really changed my hair! My hair is really soft and smooth after using this conditioner. It has never been so moisturized and frizz-free. I absolutely love this product. I first tried the honey hot oil hair mask and then I tried the fruit mask, both are amazing!!

If you want to grow out your hair, you HAVE to take care of your hair ends. Taking care of your hair ends means less chop-chop. If your hair ends are damage free, you’ll not need to trim them as often. I haven’t trimmed my hair for 5-6 months (and I don’t plan to trim them any time soon) because my hair-ends are absolutely fine. No split-ends, nothing.

I keep switching between these two shampoos and conditioners because it’s said that our hair tends to get ‘used to’ to the products. And, then the products are not as effective. So, by switching our shampoo sometimes we can make sure our hair doesn’t get too used to one product.

I hope these tips about the best hair care products are helpful to some of you.

So many have no idea that fast hair growth shampoos (obviously with no sulfates, no parabens and no DEA) exist. Hair styling enthusiasts can now enjoy longer hair and attain more possibilities. For sure worth reading.
If you’re looking into hair loss, damaged hair, avoiding skin disorders, hair growth, hair health at large, the same ideas become relevant.
In most cases, you will want to stay away from hair treatments and products that contain chemicals such as parabens, DEA or sulfates.
What is healthy for your hair is beneficial for your skin all the same.
It goes without saying the content on this page is so useful for various reasons. It avoids the common mistakes and errors so many fall into: getting bad alternatives. Greatly appreciated!
